Prepare for Oracle R12 upgrade
3 day seminar, customized to the needs of customers who work in OEBS 11i and are planning to upgrade to R12.
The seminar will be based on advania’s experience of upgrading Oracle EBS from 11i to R12.
This is not a standard Oracle course but rather a seminar that is built on our experience regarding the upgrade that we did in October 2010.
Previously we had worked on the preparation for a whole year by taking courses, doing lots of analyses, testing and iterations of the upgrade.
Since the upgrade we have been solving lots of problems.
The upgrade we did was for the Icelandic State has 11.000 users and 22 Oracle applications modules. To describe the size of the project we worked 31.000 hours total, 400 analyses reports were created,
we fixed 307 customizations and 107 recourses took a part in the project.
We think that seminar like this is very important part in the preparation process for a project such as this and it would have been great for us if we have had the opportunity to do that before our upgrade.
We have accumulated vast knowledge and valuable experience that can be very useful for others that are planning similar upgrades.
