CloudExchange

CloudExchange is a revolutionary platform that provides affordable, reliable, and scalable, direct connection to top-tier cloud service providers like AWS and Microsoft Azure. Customers who have their systems housed in atNorth’s data center or connected to Advania’s MPLS infrastructure can leverage this unique platform to connect with public cloud services without having to make substantial investments in expensive connections such as Direct Connect or Express Route.

Burstable Internet

Burstable Internet is a flexible internet option that uses 95th percentile calculations to provide bandwidth flexibility.

Although the committed rate is unprotected, burstable internet eliminates the need to account for the occasional network spikes or the volume of transferred data.

  • Flexible – with committed rate options ranging from 10Mbps with 1000Mbps burst capability to 1000Mbps with 10Gbps burst capability.
  • 95th percentile calculations – are used to estimate how well the committed rate fits the actual usage. As long as actual usage is below the committed rate for more than 95% of the time, then there is no additional charge.
  • Unmetered – no additional charges are for data transit. Amount of transferred data is only limited to the size of the bandwidth or switchport.
  • Advania runs disciplined capacity management processes to ensure customer satisfaction with all our capacity related services.

All Advania’s internet services use EntryProtect against DDoS attacks with more protection options available.

Flat rate internet

Flat rate internet is a fixed size, unprotected, and unmetered, Internet connection.

  • Fixed size – with transit speed options ranging from 10Mbps to 1000Mbps.
  • Unprotected – which means we don’t guarantee maximum transit speed availability. BUT it also means we minimize waste of resources which results in significantly lower prices than if it was protected.
  • Unmetered – so no additional charges are for data transit. Amount of transferred data is only limited to the size of the bandwidth or switchport.

DDoS Protection – EntryProtect

EntryProtect is a fully automated, simple turnkey DDoS protection Advania offers in cooperation with multiple DDoS Protection vendors.

  • Fully automated – identify, scrub all you can and block if you can’t.
  • Simple turnkey – it’s just on, there is no fine tuning or alerts.

All IP addresses published from either Advania’s or our customers’ networks are protected with EntryProtect by default with other protection options available. We don’t accept any opt-outs because a chain is only as strong as its weakest link.
